Broad Breasted White Turkeys are the commercial turkeys that almost all Americans have for Thanksgiving. These turkeys have been bred to be weight gaining machines of the poultry world, and are ready for harvest in half the time of the heritage breeds. The BB Whites are the bird to have if you like white meat. They've got lots of breast meat, and they eat a lot of plant matter, which translates into healthier meat.
The BB Whites will run 4.00/lb this year. The turkeys will be raised and processed by hand on our farm and will be frozen for pick up before Thanksgiving.
